Chef-Owners Richard and Julie Lalonde combine decades of culinary experience gained at the Fairmont Royal York and other renowned Fairmont properties with a passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
After years in some of Canada's finest hotel kitchens, the couple chose to build something of their own in Muskoka. Today, Crossroads is known for refined cuisine, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere where every guest—including four-legged family members—is made to feel at home.
About Chef Jason Bangerter & Langdon Hall
Since 2013, Jason Bangerter has served as Executive Chef of the renowned Langdon Hall Country House Hotel & Spa, home to Canada's only Five Diamond restaurant and consistently ranked among the country's finest dining destinations.
His culinary philosophy was shaped through years of training in Europe with legendary chef Anton Mosimann, whose cuisine naturelle approach continues to influence his cooking today. He has also worked with Toronto's celebrated Oliver & Bonacini restaurant group.
In 2021, Chef Bangerter published Langdon Hall: A Cookbook, highlighting the property's celebrated garden-to-table philosophy and seasonal cuisine.
