How Do I make a reservation?

We accept reservations online- You can make a reservation via OpenTable by clicking here. We are booking about 3-4 weeks in advance for Fridays & Saturdays. If you do not see the time you’d like it is because we are booked. OpenTable will suggest other times and dates that are available.

Do you accept large groups?

Yes, we do. Reservations can be made for up to 8 people. Larger groups can email dine@crossroadsrosseau.com.

We have very limited availability for groups larger than 8 people.

Are reservations required

Yes, we often have very little availability, so we recommend not taking the risk & book!

Why can’t I book, or why is the date not showing up?

Reservations on OpenTable are available up to 60 days in advance.

If your preferred date isn’t showing yet, it simply hasn’t opened for booking. We recommend checking back closer to your desired date.
This system helps ensure fair and equal access for all guests.

What’s your policy on large parties?

Large Group Policy:

At Crossroads Restaurant, we are delighted to welcome larger groups and are committed to providing each guest with a warm, seamless, and memorable dining experience. To help us serve you best, we kindly ask that you review the following information before making a large group reservation.

Booking for a Large Group

For parties of 9 or more, we kindly request that you contact us directly at

Please do not create multiple separate bookings in an effort to bypass this policy, as we are unable to accommodate groups reserved this way. To ensure your party is seated together, all large group bookings must be made under a single reservation. If you need to combine existing bookings, please reach out to us by phone or email so we can assist.

To best accommodate your group, please inform us in advance if children will be joining, so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Please note that if additional reservations are made without prior cancellation, they will be subject to our cancellation and no-show policy. As we work diligently to serve all our guests, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maximize availability for everyone who wishes to dine with us.

Seasonal Set Menu

During ALL seasons , all groups of 10 or more are kindly required to dine from our curated set menu, designed to ensure an efficient and elevated experience during our busiest time of year.

This seasonal menu allows our kitchen and service teams to give every guest the care and attention they deserve. If you have any dietary concerns or would like to inquire about accommodations, we encourage you to reach out ahead of time.

Children & Special Arrangements

If children will be joining your party, please let us know in advance so we can make the appropriate arrangements for seating and menu options.

Reservation Adjustments & Arrival

If you wish to increase the number of guests in your reservation, we require advance notice. We are unable to guarantee accommodations for last-minute changes or walk-in additions on the day of your booking.

We also ask that you arrive with the exact number of guests listed in your reservation. Unannounced changes in party size, whether an increase or decrease, may not be accommodated.

Cancellation Policy

Any additional reservations made without cancelling previous bookings will be subject to our cancellation and no-show policy. We greatly appreciate your understanding, as it allows us to manage availability and offer a fair and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Do you do corprate / business events?

For Corporate / Business Groups:

Please email dine@crossroadsrosseau.com. We are happy to book all corporate events; whether it is a holiday party, a nice team dinner, or anything else, we can do it!

What are the seating options?

We have 6 Seating Options on OpenTable:


Standard (Indoor Dining): A table in the main dining room. A standard/indoor reservation will be a table in the main dining room

Muskoka Room (Indoor Dining): A table in our beautiful screened in porch. Amazing for all seasons in Muskoka.

High Tops (Indoor Tall Tables in Bar Area): These are tall tables with chairs. Not suitable for small children such as babies or toddlers that require a high chair or booster seat as well as individuals who are not able to get onto the higher seats.

Bar Seats: This is our bar area will tall chairs. Not suitable for small children such as babies or toddlers that require a high chair or booster seat as well as individuals who are not able to get onto the higher seats. Specific bar seats cannot be reserved.

Outdoor (Patio): We have a large outdoor dining area. Some tables are underneath a tent, while others have umbrellas. If it is cool outside, we have lots of outdoor propane heaters. Please dress accordingly for the weather.

Private Dining: A four-season private cabin that seats 6-8 people. There is heat, air conditioning, and music. A great room for special celebrations.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less notice are subject to a $50 fee in accordance with our policy.


Please note that if you have booked a seating option different from what you would prefer upon arrival, we are unable to accommodate a change in seating location due to unavailability.

How do I change or cancel my reservation?

Reservations can be adjusted directly on OpenTable. You can edit your group size and time (only if available). If OpenTable is not allowing the group size or time change, it is because we do not have it available. We are unable to change it for you as we have the same access to reservations as our guests do. Reservations can also be cancelled via OpenTable.

Is there a cancellation fee?

Yes, if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or do not show up to your reservation, there is a $50 fee per person.

As long as you cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice, there is no fee and there will be no charge to your credit card.

Are credit cards required to make a reservation?

Yes, a valid credit card is required to book any reservation, whether booking online or over the phone. Your credit card information is securely stored and encrypted via Stripe, a global payment processing company.

We do not have access to your credit card number.

Are you open for lunch?

No, not anymore.

We open year-round at 3 pm in the summer and 5 pm in the fall/winter and have our Dinner Menu available.

What days are you open?

From the September long weekend to October 13th, we are open Wedsnesday - Sunday, 5 pm - 9 pm. (Fall Season)

Then October to May, Thursday to Sunday, 5 pm to 9 pm (Winter season)


From May to September, we are open Wednesday to Sunday, 3 pm - 10 pm. (Summer season)

Can I order from your take-out menu if I’m dining in the restaurant?

Our take-out menu is available only for pickup. We have a beautiful Dine-In menu that is available for you.

If you would like a burger or something from our take-out menu, we would be happy to prepare it for you to take home with you. You are also able to order take-out meals to take home at the end of your meal.

Do you have a kids menu?

We have a great children’s menu with items such as chicken fingers and fries, as well as striploin steak, catch of the day and many other delicious items.

Do you allow dogs on your patio?

Yes! We love our furry friends and we will provide a water bowl as well as a special Canine Cuisine menu for your pup, with items such as a grilled beef burger served with peas & carrots.

Please note dogs are ONLY allowed on the patio not inside; please let us know if you are bringing your fury friends

Do you provide delivery?

We are unable to provide delivery; however, there is a great delivery company called DPB Delivery, and their phone number is 705-394-5581.

How do I order takeout?

Takeout can be ordered online here, or you can call the restaurant at (705) 732-4343 if you need to order over the phone. Takeout can be picked up from the restaurant.

Either come to the door and let the host know you’re here for pick up.

can I purchase a gift card?

At this time we are currently not selling gift cards are we in the process of updating our software.

Do you have live music?

Yes, we have live music on the patio in the summer

Live music is weather-dependent.
